of recent lectures:
-
“Correction
of Genua Vara (bow legs) with Dynamic Braces” a lecture about a dynamic
brace to correct a growing disorder in children. This brace was developed
by Thomas de Windt. It is the only existing brace that gives correction
night and day and allows the child's normal intensive activities.

“Successful
early fitting AK & BK 4-10 days post-op” , a prosthesis developed by
Thomas de Windt to successfully mobilize amputees 4 to 10 days after the
amputation.
Both lectures
were presented during the “IXth ISPO World Congress” in Amsterdam
from June 28th till July 3rd 1998, an international congress of the world
organization of rehabilitation professionals such as Physicians, Prosthesists
and Orthosists, Physical Therapists, Orthopedic Surgeons etc. which takes
place every three years in different places around the world.
They
were presented also in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, at the “Congresso Brasileiro
de Ortopedia Técnica”, 28th of July till 1st of August 1998. A congress
for rehabilitation professionals from South- and Middle America.

“Introduction
to Icex technology”, presented in Panama, during an educational congress
organized by ISPO Panama, endorsed by the University of Panama.
